Consultation Fee Increase
Emerald Medical Centre has made some adjustments to consultation fees to help support the ongoing delivery of high-quality healthcare services. At Emerald Medical Centre, our priority has always been to provide our community with high-quality, thorough and compassionate medical care.
To ensure we can continue delivering the level of care our patients expect, consultation fees will increase by 5% from 1 July 2026, in line with CPI and the increasing costs of operating a modern general practice.

While your Medicare rebate continues to provide valuable support, it does not fully reflect the increasing costs of delivering modern general practice. We have worked hard to keep fee increases to a minimum, and this adjustment allows us to continue investing in our doctors, nurses, staff, facilities and services.
