Sudi graduated from medicine at Deakin University in 2020 and completed his GP training with Emerald Medical Centre in 2024.
Before moving into General Practice, he worked at Eastern Health, developing key skills and a strong foundation across medical and surgical specialties. Sudi enjoys all aspects of General Practice, having a particular interest in children’s health, mental health and dermatology, whilst also prioritising the importance of preventative healthcare.
Outside of medicine, Sudi enjoys all sports, being a keen cricketer and supporting the Essendon Football club. He also enjoys travelling and exploring regional Victoria with his partner.

Jonathan is a local, and provides support and expertise in Geriatric Medicine for the Emerald community.
A Geriatrician is a doctor who specialises in managing health problems that arise as we get older, as well as managing challenging or complex health problems. Jonathan has experience in looking after people with multiple health problems as well as people who are having difficulty managing their daily routine because of their health.
Jonathan did his medical degree at the University of Edinburgh and worked in Scotland and England before coming to Australia in 2011. He is the Clinical Services Director for Complex and Continuing Care (encompassing geriatrics, rehabilitation and disability clinical services) at Eastern Health and has a strong interest in Medical Education, holding an appointment as an Adjunct Lecturer with Monash University.

Simone originally trained as a physiotherapist before deciding on a career in medicine. Upon finishing medical school in 2012, she worked at The Royal Melbourne Hospital gaining experience in a wide range of medical specialties.
Simone is interested in all aspects of general practice, particularly sports medicine, chronic disease management and preventative health.
Johnathan graduated from University of Melbourne in 2018. He completed his junior doctor training at Monash Health and Eastern Health network for two and a half years. During this time, he completed further training in Women’s health. He is interested in all areas of general practice with more emphasis on general medicine and preventative health.
Outside of medicine he enjoys running and volleyball.
Kasuni graduated from Barts and The Royal London Medical school in the UK in 2006.
Kasuni then gained further experience in various specialties such as Emergency Medicine, Children’s Health and Women’s Health before becoming a General Practitioner in 2011. Having worked as a GP in the UK for 6 years she then moved to Melbourne with her husband and 2 sons in 2017.
Kasuni enjoys the holistic aspect of family medicine and has particular interests in Women’s Health, Chronic Disease Management and Children’s Health. Kasuni is looking forward to providing ongoing care to the Hills Community.
In her spare time Kasuni enjoys exploring the outdoors with her family, dancing and baking.
Micaela graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2008, before working at Eastern and Western Health as a junior doctor and completing her GP training in Canberra with a rural stint in Eden, NSW. She then spent 2 years working in Indigenous Health in the Northern Territory – Alice Springs and Galiwin’ku (Elcho Island).
Micaela enjoys general GP care including chronic disease management and preventative health. She has particular experience in paediatrics, women’s health, refugee health, contraception and family planning, mental health and youth health. She has interests in LGBTQI+ health including prescribing gender affirming hormone therapy under the informed consent model, and in antenatal and postnatal care including breastfeeding medicine and infant sleep using Neuroprotective Developmental Care* (or the ‘Possums’ program) *non-accredited.
Micaela uses a trauma informed approach during all consults. She can perform Implanon insertion and removal and Mirena/IUD removals.
Micaela is kept busy by her two young children and enjoys reading, weekends away and exploring the cafes, parks and walks around the Hills.
Vassili graduated from Medical School in Russia. Once moving to Australia he completed the RACGP exams in 2003. He commenced work at Emerald Medical Centre in 1999.
After graduating from the University of Melbourne in 2019, Dr. Valentine gained valuable experience at Eastern Health in various fields and obtained her certificate in women’s health. Her dedication to patient care and wellness shines through as she enjoys working in all aspects of general practice, including preventative care, women’s health, and chronic disease management. Beyond her professional commitments, Dr. Valentine has a love for gardening and finds solace in reading a good book with a comforting cup of tea.
Dr. Nasir Bhuiyan is a Fellow of the Australian College of General Practice and a Diplomate of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
He has eight years of experience in various hospital roles across multiple tertiary hospitals in different states of Australia before transitioning to General Practice, where he has been practicing for the past seven years.
As a Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) affiliated supervisor, Dr. Bhuiyan is committed to mentoring and training the next generation of GP trainees. He is passionate about all aspects of General Practice, with special interests in office-based surgical procedures, geriatric care, women’s and men’s health, pregnancy care, child health, skin conditions, travel medicine, and preventive healthcare.
Outside of work, he enjoys traveling and spending quality time with his family.
Nazmul has been consulting at EMC since 2004 after working in Tasmania for 3 years and having previously worked in South Africa, where he served as Principal Medical Officer at a general hospital. He enjoys family medicine & comprehensive patient care.
